How was equilibrium maintained while going to work as a RN and going to school to become a Nurse Anesthetist?

I am looking for advice on becoming a nurse anesthetist and wondering what's in my path. Thanks for any tips/advice :)

Hi, Johnny-Angel! I know that the US Army has a great 3 yr program to become a Physcian Assistant and then you can specialize in training to become a Nurse Anesthetist. It is faster than a path outside the Army and they pay for allllll of it. Just an idea for you. Good luck in your career path!

Hello Johnny-Angel! To answer your question, going to CRNA school is a full time (3yrs) commitment. Most of the RNs who attend CRNA school, do not go to work, maybe a few do part time or casual positions but with the load of courses you have to take, it is difficult to work & attend CRNA school. Some schools (you'd have to research on them) don't even allow students to work while attending CRNA school.

Remember, if you decide to become a CRNA and you finally commit to applying to schools, there will be a lot of sacrifices but in the long run, it will be all worth it!
