Frank’s Answer

Meet with as many people in the field as possible. Do not limit yourself, so speak to local PD, Federal and State to get their takes. Each will have their own view on Criminal Investigation. Take some Criminal Investigation courses. Speak with people at different stages of their career for their plusses and minuses of the job. Do some research in the library and online. Good Luck.

Sikawayi’s Answer

Hello Destiny, thank you for your question. I think the best way to find out more about criminal investigations would be to meet with your local police department, tell them of your ambitions and see what they say if you're lucky they'll let you do a ride a long so you can see what it's really like. Of course, you always have the option of going to school, you don't have to choose your major at the point you enroll that will give you time to make up your mind. Best of luck
