You can't become a lawyer if you don't have a high school diploma. You could try to get your GED and then try to go on to higher education that way, but doing it that way will take much more time compared to just getting your high school diploma while you are still in high school. Like the other answers mentioned, unless you have the high school diploma or equivalent, it will be next to impossible to become a lawyer.

Hi Gavin
Dropping out of high school would not allow you to become a lawyer. Lawyers have a set requirement to have a law degree and passing the bar exam. Once you become a lawyer you have to take courses to refresh your education and stay on top of the law. This is called MCLE.

Dropping out of high school will not provide you with any advantages to furthering your education down the road. Getting accepted into an accredited law program without even high school credentials will be difficult, to near impossible. If you are considering dropping out of school, please speak to a teacher or guidance counselor before doing so and make sure you have other credible options. Im not the 'hey kids, stay in school' guy, Im the guy who is saying 'think this over, discuss it with people and get all the onto you need before making such a huge decision'.
