Matt’s Answer
Hi David!
For me, money and benefits are only one part of why. For me, I look at the culture of the company that I work for, and how they live their mission. I'm grateful to work for an organization that genuinely cares about its mission, purpose and people. Money and rewards are great, but knowing that I'm making a difference, its a great mix.
Best of luck!
Matt

Li Nar’s Answer
The reason why I want to work:
1. To be connected with people
2. To contribute to society
3. To being of service to community
It's a form of give back. Inside of all that, there comes joy as well when the work I do makes the difference in the world.
I can't quite buy all the above with money and I can't be doing all that if I don't have money.
I consider that I'm being paid for my work that fosters great connections and makes a difference to the world.
Hop this gives you another perspective of the purpose to work & money.
