Hi Karlla,
Most of the time when you take the same class, it will not impact your overall GPA by much. The best way to increase your GPA is to take additional courses in do well in them. Hopefully this helps add some insight to your question.

Hi Karlla,
Yes you can retake the class at college that you didn't previously do well in. Make sure you talk to you college advisor by finding out if it a same or similar class. Also you would need to find out if the school offers transfer credits too. You previous class may qualify to transfer its credit to the course that you are taking.

Hey Karlla!
When a course is below the pass mark, it drops CGPA, when you retake and pass it, it improves CGPA. The impact can be high, if it is a course of higher credit units.
Your college's Course Advisor should be consulted on the matter.

You can almost always retake a class to get a better grade and increase your GPA; often, a school (or area of study within the school) will have a limit on how many times you can retake a class before barring you from taking it again. Usually, if you take a class 2+ times, the school will take the best grade you got in the class and apply that to your GPA.
If the class is being applied to your major (rather than towards your general studies), there will often be a minimum grade you *must* get in the class before being able to move onto other classes in your major (especially if the class is a direct prerequisite of another class). In those cases you will absolutely want/need to retake the class if you don't do well enough in it and still want to progress in your field of study.
Your school will also have advisors you can speak to (often including in-major advisors and general ones) that will be helpful in determining what classes you should retake/opt for/etc if you have any issues that come up during your time in college.

Yes, you can absolutely retake a class in college. I am unable to think of a use case where you cannot. However, I would argue this is necessary if the change in grade is drastic, other wise it may not impact it much. Meaning, going from an F to a B or something like that.
