When studying landscape architecture are there any recommended colleges I should be looking into?

I'm looking to do a bachelor's degree and not a lot of colleges offer it. I just wanted to make sure I get my degree from a reputed college. Did you have a lot of practical work included in the curriculum?

Lindsay’s Answer

One of my really good college friends went to West Virginia University for landscape architecture. He was able to participate in various interships that led him to job placement post-graduation. https://designcomm.wvu.edu/undergraduate/majors/landscape-architecture

Best of luck!

Kim’s Answer

Calvin,

Try looking at schools that are A&M schools - such as Texas A&M - https://www.arch.tamu.edu/laup/

My son took Landscape Design in HS and really enjoyed it!

I can't really add much more than that - hope you get some additional feedback.
