Hi Karmen,
What made you want to be a vet? Because I love the animals. I wanted to help relieve the suffering of animals that have experienced injuries or chronic illnesses, and at the same time I see the happiness and appreciation of their owners. I feel so happy because I have a positive impact to their lives.
Was being a vet your first choice as your career? For me, yes.
When did you start your first vet job? 45 years old.
What was your first thought of vet school? It was big change from undergraduate to vet school. I see it was so competitive. I see it is so aggressive to get into vet school. After that I see feel everything ok. Your classmate is your friend, supporter, helper.....
