As you are in South Carolina, the best place to direct this question would be the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED). SLED functions as a state-level law enforcement agency that provides services for many agencies in the state, handles major crime scenes, etc. They would be able to tell you classes offered in your area to take.
