Hi, Joseph :)
The moment i read this question i was so excited!
I am a singer in a HardRock/Metal band so these are the things i would recommend for you to be successful.
1- You need to practice and even tho been a self learner is good it always adds extra points to have a teacher that will coach you and will see additional things that you might not.
2- If you want to have a band, find the correct people for it, that everyone has the same expectations of the project and will take it seriously.
3- Planning: You need to schedule rehearsals with the band you everyone feels comfortable and sounds good. After that you can start practicing movements on stage.
4- Create a Presskit, here you will add information about your band, photos and if you already have music in the platforms you will add it here. (I can share with you my PK if you want)
5- Start playing everywhere and be active in social media so people get to know you more.
6- Have fun, be yourself on stage and connect with the audience. And after every gig, make sure to post on social media a photo or small video so people wants to go to the next one.
Hope this helps and if you have any additional questions, more than happy to help.
You will be a rockstar!

Hi Joseph, I absolutely love this question! While there are many paths you could take to being a rockstar, here are some of my thoughts and suggestions:
1. Try taking a dance class and getting out of your comfort zone! Getting some go-to moves will give you confidence on stage
2. PRACTICE! Find opportunities to perform as much as possible. This can be playing music at open mics (find every open mic in your area and make a goal around going once a month or once a season!), creating YouTube videos of yourself acting/doing a skit, even getting a role in your school play. All of these things will continue to boost your confidence in front of an audience which is key for performing on a stage as a star.
3. Study others! Watch YouTube videos of your favorite performers (if you don't know who those are yet, try researching who the best rock performers of all time are). Take note of how they command the stage, interact with the audience, and other qualities that you feel make them especially shine.
I hope that's a helpful starting point and I am excited for you! Keep putting yourself out there!
