Aimee’s Answer

Active listening and effective communication are not always taught in schools but are very important for any career. Listening is such a huge part of how we communicate and learning to do that in an active way is a great skill.

Evaluating what's important to you and not losing sight of that. This is another thing we don't teach a lot in school, but I think that's a very important lesson to learn. Make sure you get whatever work you need to get done for your goals but also leave in self-care or fun time so you don't burn out.

Lauren’s Answer

Hello Takrim!

I think presentation skills are also important to work on as you are on your journey as no matter what field you go into, there will be a time you need to "present" something to someone (or a group of people) and having the practice early on will help you be more comfortable and confident in your presentation!
