These are all great answers! I'd also add that it's great to use your college internships as opportunities to help you figure out what type of work you enjoy the most and want to do after graduation. If you're able to do multiple internships, I'd suggest looking for companies and roles that are each in very different areas of marketing (e.g. digital, PR, social, analytics, etc) or even in different industries so you can learn as much as you can about what you enjoy. This way, you can 'test run' different job types before committing to one full time. By spreading out your experience, this will also help you find a job when you graduate, as companies are always looking for people with well-rounded backgrounds. This way, you can pull from any of these different experiences in your job interviews to show how your skills are transferable and how your unique experiences may bring a new perspective to the team.

Like others have said, any internship will increase your chances of finding a job! I recommend thinking about what you're interested in and what skills you want to learn. Important and transferable skills for marketing can include: analytics, communication, creativity, project management, social media and writing. Looking for an internship with any of these skills will increase your chances of landing a marketing job after college.
If you want to go into Marketing post-grad, looking at an internship that feeds into a rotational Marketing Development Program could be a good place to start. Most larger companies (Sports: NFL/NBA, Beauty: Estee Lauder, Tech: Dell, Food/Bev: Kraft Heinz) have internships that lead into rotational programs. The benefit of a rotational program is that you have the opportunity to explore different areas of marketing early on in your career.

Something else to consider is participating in a campus club/team/activity in a volunteer marketing role. It's a great opportunity to hone your skills and make a tangible impact on campus. I found that when I was interviewing for my first job it was incredibly helpful to reference my experience on the exec team for one of our Students' Union productions. I was given a significant amount of responsibility and given it was something I was passionate about (dance) it really came through when I spoke about it and identified transferable skills in my job search. I'll bet there are many events, fundraisers, etc. at your school (or in your community) where you could offer marketing skills to build your experience :)

ANY internship will help you find a job! Seek/choose one in a field you're passionate about, even if it seems like a dream opportunity and do your very best to do whatever you can/is asked, even the simplest and mundane things. Just do them well and people will trust you with more responsibilities. The exposure will be beneficial for you, and the people you're working with will be impressed. It will help you discover (sooner rather than later) if doing what you THINK you want will turn into the career you will love!
