Trudi’s Answer

In my career as a paralegal, the pros were getting to attend trials in court, working with the person you are representing, researching and writing. The cons were when you have a difficult case that you dont agree with, when you have to deliver a difficult message to the person you are representing, the stress of meeting deadlines.

Hasmig Lily’s Answer

Hello, I am a dietitian and still in the process of doing my masters degree. I feel now people are more aware of their health and food intake and therefore the pros of a dietitian is now widely present all over the world. For the cons, it might be a long career process for a dietitian to be a professor and be able to teach at a university level. Most important of all, is that you love what you do and do it with passion.

Mackenzie’s Answer

Hi! I just graduated from law school last year and am an associate at a large law firm doing commercial litigation. My day to day varies a lot but I do a lot of writing on complex legal matters such as breach of contract issues and big commercial cases. We go to court to represent our clients and argue in front of civil judges around Texas. The job is very mentally stimulating and I have incredible mentors. The content is always interesting and I"m always learning something new. The downside is long and unpredictable hours so taking initiative to have work life balance is key. Hope that helps!
