Drew’s Answer
I am not a believer in seeking this answer in others. The reason being is I have spent years of my life pursuing what others thought was a good match for me. You really should find this answer yourself, but to help in the best way I could without contradicting myself:
List the top jobs you've thought would be something that interested you. Example: Developer, Doctor, Lawyer, Teacher and FBI Special Agent. Then go look at tons of videos for each one and I mean really look at what they do, what specialties they offer that interest you. Then list all the pros and cons of these jobs and why you like job A over job B and see if they all have a commonality between them. Lastly, if it involves schooling bring in that list of pros and talk with your advisor and show them, see what they think matches your pros the most and this will at the very least point you in a direction.
Side note, when I talk to my kids about a career they do not give the traditional "I want to be a doctor" or "I want to be a [high paying job title" they respond with "I want to be happy". This is the strongest advice I can give. Don't worry about prestige, money, titles or the like...worry about your happiness. You get one life!
