Hi Kalyani,
Web designing means designing the user interface (UI) or in other words deciding how a particular web page should look like - colors, fonts and all possible visual aspects that provide good user experience. It is just related to front-end part and mostly not involve logical coding.
Web development involves coding because you need to develop a particular functionality as per requirement.
UI/UX development revolves around web design and web development.
To understand it better, I'll give you some examples:
1] Google search bar
a] Web design : - the UI part of search bar, what shape should it be, what color should it be, should it be center-aligned and many questions related to visual aspects
b] Web development : - if user types in some query and hits enter then how should the response be? What page must be loaded ? This considers the functional aspect of a particular feature (UI is considered but 60-70% of focus lies on the functionality)
c] UI/UX : This covers the visual part (UI) as well as user experience (UX). (functional + visual)
Inside Google search bar you see a placeholder text that says "Search Google or type a URL" - this improves the user's experience (how?) - if you had never seen a search bar before and Google's search bar also didn't give you instructions of what has to be done then you would never use the search bar, right?
Suppose you clicked on a url and waited for 2 min - no response seen. What will you do? Try to refresh, go back, come forth or just try to figure out what happened - BAD user experience.
On the contrary, if you get some response like "Please wait while the page is loading" then you are sure that the action is still in progress and you need to wait - Good user experience
so UI/UX development also focuses on giving the user a better digital experience (with pleasing UI) that makes users happy and in turn benefits the business.
Design means front-end experience. Development means visual and functional aspect. However the experience matters , so UX is always the priority - be it web design or web development or UI/UX development. Hope that clarifies your query.
Thanks,
Nivedita

Hey Kalyani!
Looks like you received a lot of great information from a technical perspective, so I'll go another route. It is important as web designer to lean into what the customer needs or what their vision is. Doing so will save you time and energy. For example, you could great a phenomenal website that's beautifully presented in your opinion, but it can appear too busy or too fancy to your client. Set the right expectation and ask the right questions.

Hi Balaji, below are some tips on your requests,
Web design is the process of creating the visual and aesthetic aspects of a website. It involves layout, color scheme, typography, and other elements that make a website visually appealing and easy to navigate. Web designers use a variety of tools, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, to create the look and feel of a website.
Web development, on the other hand, is the process of building the functionality and technical aspects of a website. This includes coding in languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create the structure and interactivity of the website. Web developers use tools such as text editors, version control systems, and development frameworks to build the backend and frontend of a website.
UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) development is a process of designing and developing the overall feel and functionality of a website or application. UI design focuses on the layout, navigation, and other visual elements that users interact with directly. UX design, on the other hand, focuses on the overall user experience, including ease of use, accessibility, and overall satisfaction.
UI/UX designers work closely with web designers and developers to ensure that the website or application is visually appealing, easy to use, and meets the needs of the target audience. They use tools such as wireframes, mockups, and user testing to design and improve the user experience.
In summary, web design is the process of creating the visual aspects of a website, web development is the process of building the functionality of a website, and UI/UX development is the process of designing and developing the overall feel and functionality of a website or application to enhance the user experience.

In graphic design as well we use Adobe photoshop, illustrator and Corel draw
As u said same applications are used in web design
Soo is it quite similar to design a website (means Are G.D and W.D similar ?)
Or Shall I think it this way like G.D is wide (as we design pamphlets , posters, social media ads, newspaper ads)
And W.D is limited to designing a website

There are a couple of nicely detailed answers but maybe with way more detail then you were looking for.
As a Graphic Designer working on webpages... you are mostly going to be responsible for 'User Feel' and 'Ease Of Use'.
This is because most of the core programmers at this time don't ever seem to understand the "user experience". They will design a new 'amazing' feature or service because 'they' think it's amazing. All while totally ignoring how their end users might feel about the new experience.
As a G.D. you are responsible for outlying a smooth page lay out and usage design that makes your page the best possible page for your customers.
