Clara,
You may get a better answer to this question on a technology forum for video. My knowledge of Chromebooks say that your best bet would be to use online video editing sites, as that is the strength of Chrome.

Hi Clara!
Editing can be tough on a laptop! A lot of editing software is difficult to run on a Chromebook or other computer with less storage and RAM, but my biggest advice is, you can always make it work! Davinci Resolve is my personal favorite and they have a free version, but I would advise you to save your project often and keep lots of backups of footage just in case! As my professor told us, "2 is 1, and 1 is none". Always have at least 3 copies of your footage in different places! Ex. hard drives, computer storage, cloud storage, etc.
