Elena,
John has a great answer for you. I'll just build off of this and offer up advice that a degree in broadcast journalism can be very beneficial for you if you're not able to find something related to meteorology specifically. Journalists often have a "beat", or a specific topic that they cover over time and become very well versed in. You may even find that you enjoy environmental journalism if you already have meteorology in mind. There are many options out there to explore!

Sure, Elena,
I'd be happy to help you find some universities that offer meteorology or broadcast meteorology programs in the Pacific Northwest, Midwest and Northeast regions of the United States.
In the Pacific Northwest region:
University of Washington in Seattle, Washington
Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon
University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon
In the Midwest region:
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Urbana, Illinois
Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan
Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio
In the Northeast region:
Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania
Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts
Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey
Please keep in mind that these are only a few samples and that other colleges or universities might provide comparable programs. You might want to look into each of these institutions' individual programs to see if they match your interests and professional objectives.

Hi Elena! Since broadcast meteorology is a very specific major program and career field it is better that you try to look for programs that are a bit broader to get you to being a broadcaster or journalist in meteorology in the future. For example, for your intended career in broadcast meteorology, look at schools that have good broadcast/journalism programs and environmental science minors or concentrations to give you a great overview and understanding of both industries to prepare you for the broadcast meteorology role in the future.
