Okay, how many years will it be before you enter law school? Four? Six? More? And what is "affordable?" My suggestion is to focus on getting prepared for law school now. As you get closer to that time, you will have significant experience and contacts with students and professors to know what school fits your needs and your budget. In summary, this is a question that has no good answers. All the best in your pursuits.

Stephen’s Answer

Law school isn't very affordable, unfortunately. If you want to go into public interest law, there might be some scholarships. It might also be cheaper if you go to a state school.

But depending on the type of law that you want to practice, certain law schools can be better. US News has a list of law schools that allow you to filter by certain requirements. That may be helpful in deciding.
