Will I only get into gradschool if I have job experience within my major?

I start applying to graduate school for speech path next Winter. Do I need to have an internship lined up before hand for experience? How do I go about getting one?#CV23

Congrats on the next step in your education. You are able to apply and attend most graduate schools without any experience in your career. Each school is slightly different so I recommend narrowing down your options and checking those particular schools. I would also recommend doing an internship just for the experience you would gain in your intended career field, I know my internships in college were insightful and helped impact my career choices.
I would reach out to your college's career center or your personal advisor for help finding an internship, often times they have partnerships with local organizations or even alumni in your field that could possibly give you a job.

Hope this helps and great work.
