There are many jobs available in Commercial Construction. It is a strong industry that will continue to grow.

The best advice I can give is to find a field the interests you and get some base-level knowledge. The more you know about the field, the better off you will be with finding a good job as a manger. Spend time with a senior estimator and start to learn what it takes to put a bid together. Materials, labor and knowledge of the job market is an excellent place to start.

No, there are plenty of jobs for good estimators in commercial construction. They are good paying jobs and have a great future for those who want to work hard and learn the industry.
