Thanks for posting the question. I am not an expert to answer this question.
Following article, I found online would give some inspiration.
I personally believe that nothing is impossible, if you have a strong desire and put in your effort you can achieve it.
I suggest you talk to the counselor at the colleges/schools where cosmetology courses/certifications are offered, they can give you honest feedback.
you should ask them how you become cosmetologist with your situation.

Don't get disappointed, you can also explore the other careers that suits your profile , just to weigh all opportunities.
Wish you all good luck in your future endeavors.

Hi Phoenix! That’s such a great question. I don’t know a great deal about Tourette’s, however, I do know people with different forms of OCD and other issues. It’s definitely not impossible. I feel like it would depend of the level of severity and how you’re able to control it. My main point with my clients is always honesty first. No matter what I’m dealing with. Whether it be a difficulty with their hair or a personal issue I’m dealing with. I have a couple of different physical issues that I’m dealing with and my clients know about them and have always felt comfortable with me and appreciated my honestly. Cosmetology is not an easy career in the best of situations but it’s extremely rewarding if that’s where your passion lies. I’ve always felt like if you have a true passion and love for something you can be successful. Do some research and maybe contact a salon that will allow you to shadow a stylist for a day. Talk to the stylist and maybe ask if you can talk to a couple of the clients and get a feel for how they respond to you. I hope this helps you and I wish you the best of luck on your journey.
