Diana’s Answer

Hi there,

You could work on the marketing and advertising business. You could specialized in a certain area to work as a copywriter, an editor, etc. And if you love languages you could be a translator or an interpreter.

I am a translator I speak three languages and I have a nice job. Do your research and see if you would like to work on the fields I mentioned.

Good luck!

Laurie’s Answer

Having an English degree makes you versatile. If you are interested in education, having an English background is helpful if you are interested in teaching writing and literature (secondary) or language arts (elementary). This degree can help you get started if you are interested in being a school principal too.
In the corporate world, proofreading, copywriting, and training and development could be great options with the degree.

Fatima’s Answer

There are numerous job options both inside and outside of the school sector for someone with a degree in teaching with an English concentration. Graduates can work as elementary, middle, or high school English instructors, teaching language arts, literature, writing, and grammar to their students. As an alternative, they might decide to instruct a variety of demographics in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) or as a Second Language (ESL). There are also opportunities in curriculum creation, where people create instructional materials and tests with an emphasis on English literature and language. Serving as instructional consultants, literacy coaches, writing instructors, or library media specialists are more options.
