Brandi’s Answer

Becoming a pediatrician requires several years of education and training.

Typically, it takes about 11 years after high school to become a pediatrician in the United States. This includes:

4 years of undergraduate studies to earn a Bachelor's degree in a pre-med or related field
4 years of medical school to earn a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
3 years of residency training in pediatrics.
In some cases, a pediatrician may choose to pursue additional training or fellowships in a subspecialty area of pediatrics, such as pediatric cardiology, neurology, or oncology, which can add a few more years to their training.

Overall, becoming a pediatrician requires a significant commitment of time, effort, and resources, but for those passionate about working with children, it can be a rewarding and fulfilling career.
