Job’s Answer

The cost of law school is substantial, depending on what school you attend. If you have the grades and background you may be able to get grants and financial assistance.
Without grants and assistance you can spend between $75,000.00-$200,000.00. You can complete law school in 3-6 years which will help determine the cost.
Once you have completed your first year you can get a part time job at a law firm depending on your grades. I would seriously determine if you want to be an attorney first. It is a difficult profession and will require many long hours of work once you graduate and work for a law firm. It can also be very financially rewarding as well as personally rewarding.

Luke’s Answer

There isn't a 'one-answer-fits-all' because like other majors/degrees, it varies by university and by state. If you have specific universities in mind then a quick google search will answer your question. Otherwise, there are a few websites where you can filter/search based on tuition cost for law schools.

Baljit’s Answer

Hi Rosselin,
It depends on the type of school (public v private) and also what kind of financial aid you are given. Working partime at the university and summer school jobs would also help in the equation. Internships would also help. At the end of law school the cost could be the average side as much as $100,000.00 TO $150,000.00.
