How long should it take to get a reply from colleges?

Hi Ly,
Waiting for a response from colleges is a nerve-wrecking time! Typically if you apply for colleges with a rolling-admissions, you will find out within a few weeks. However, if you apply for colleges with defined admissions deadlines, you will typically find out by March or April. If you applied for early admission, you will find out by mid-December. Obviously, it depends on what college you applied for and what the admissions process is like, but hopefully this helps you determine when you will hear from your colleges.
