What major is best for an aspiring veterinarian?

Hi Julia,
Congratulations on your vocation choice. You really can major in anything you want as long as you meet all the course requirements to apply to veterinary school. Obviously most people major in the sciences such as biology but I know veterinarians who majored in arts, political science....just about any major. I would recommend checking with school counselors or better yet, veterinary schools to ensure you will meet the requirements.
