Mark’s Answer
I sold myself & not a product. I sold myself as a teen to other farmers in our area. I sold my drive, hard work ethic to them. They turned around & passed me on to others. Many said "hey there is this teen who works hard, doesn't complain, shows up on time, does what ever is asked. Check him out".

HI Ina, I can't remember the first thing I sold, but I would advise you start with something, one thing that you make really well. Think of it as like your signature product, something that you make or create really well and give yourself a small goal of selling a certain number of them. By you focusing on one thing, you can perfect it and see how people are responding to it, without spending too much money or time or multiple products that people may or may not buy.

It would be helpful to know what type of items you are looking to sell. Do you create arts or crafts? There are usually local craft fairs where you can rent a booth, set up a booth, and spend a Saturday and Sunday selling your goods. Local schools, churches, and community centers sponsor these craft fairs.
If you are a minor, you could ask your parent/guardian to help you sell items you make on social media platforms like Facebook Marketplace or on an online shopping site like Ebay.
Having a garage sale/yard sale may also be an option.
