Hi Grace!

As a scholarship reviewer, I would definitely point out that you should not waste your time and the scholarship reviewers’ time in applying for scholarships that are not a good fit for you - either something you are not qualified for or not in line with your interests, etc. As an example, if you are very interested in pursuing a medical degree to be a psychiatrist and your application is written that way, you should not submit for something like an English language teaching scholarship. It is very clear as a reviewer when a scholarship applicant is just trying to apply for a lot of different scholarships without meeting the requirements for a particular scholarship. If you’re passionate about something or well qualified, I believe the application should mostly write itself and it will clearly show through to the reviewers.

Hello,

My advice to anyone going to school is to apply for any free money available to you, as school is extremely expensive, and paying back student loans requires a lot of discipline, and is added stress in the future. Once you complete 1 scholarship application, you'll be able to use it as a template for others, which will greatly reduce the amount of effort you have to put in the application processes.

There are tons of scholarship sites online that you can use to find ones that best suit your needs.

Thanks, and best of luck with your studies!
