How much does a sport agent make per contact ?

2-10% is common and will depend on the sport and professional level of play. NBA, NFL etc agents that are power agents typically get no less than 10%. Non power agents and depending on how well established their client is 4-8%.
Overseas it is different because of the sports and different levels. In soccer at the highest levels-10% lower levels because their client is getting paid less 4-8% and real low levels 2-4%. Basketball, typically high-levels is 8-10% lower levels 2-6%.
I would reach out to agencies and see what type of internships they have available so you can get some relevant 1st hand knowledge.

I am not an agent at all, but I believe agents generally make a percentage. I have heard 10% is common. This gives the agent an incentive to negotiate the best possible contract. After all, the more money the athlete makes, the more the agent makes.
