You are here to exist unapologetically, to live as the most authentic version of yourself, to ask questions and to learn.
It's very easy to get wrapped up in the complexity of existence and why we're all even on this Earth to begin with, but I think it can be fun to take that question of "why" and making it specific to you. Why do you want to be here?
Maybe you're in school right now and you don't want to be there, but outside of that, why do you want to be here? What are you passionate about? What makes you wake up in the morning and has you feeling excited just for the fact that it exists? What motivates you to get through what you dislike?
Take that part of your life and lean into it more, make a career out of it. Or even keep it as something that brings you joy when your day job has you a little down.
Existence is fun and silly, you're here to have fun and be you.

Why are you here?

What are your goals? What preparation have you completed or plan to utilize to accomplish your goals?

Goals do not have to be career or monetarily motivated. They can be associated to all aspects in life to better yourself and quality of life.

If you do not have goals yet, I recommend starting with small goals and then start to add more complexity to them.

Be sure to have short and long term goals.

If you are looking for life or career advice this website is a great starting point.

You have free access to professionals that are taking time out of their day to help. I wish I had a resource like this when I was younger to ask advice or simply brainstorm ideas 💡 with.

Hi, Abraham. You've already received some excellent responses to your question. I particularly appreciate Pamela's answer. I'll add this: You have the innate ability to positively influence others. You have the means to feel joy, regardless of your circumstances. You have the capacity to love and to be loved. To be sure, life has its ups and downs. But in spite of the downs, there are ALWAYS things to be grateful for. Look for those things each and every day. When you do that, I believe you will recognize what a wonderful and beautiful journey this is!

I have had the exact same question when I went through my mid-life crisis for 2 years. Why am I here? What's the point? Why does it matter? After a lot of soul searching, I realized that I am here to share the love I have with my family and friends. I am here to influence and make this a better world. I am here to move the needle for women who come after me. I am here to help my kids to do the same. You are the only one who can come up with the answer of this tough question as you find your own meaning and purpose in life. Just remember - everyone has a purpose and you just need to find yours.
