DaVinci Resolve is a powerful software that a one stop shop. They have a free version available.
You can find a many tutorials on YouTube to guide you. Hope this helps.

Like many suggest, DaVinci Resolve is wonderful. Learn that and you can use that to do professional grade work as well.

apple movie maker is an easy, quick and easy to learn editing software that is free on Mac.

PowerDirector is available on android for free with watermark if you really need that on your phone.

Out of all of the free software available...
If you want a free program that's on the level as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition:

Get DaVinci Resolve.

High quality. Great service. Arguably better than Adobe because of it's features and it's free!

I use Clipchamp with great results. It can be found in Microsoft Store if you use Windows 11.
