JOHN’s Answer

Hello:

As with home improvement shows, the ambiance that interior design unwraps, for those who like the end look, can beautify the less stressful environment that one lives inside. The more one feels comfortable, joyous, and overall happy about their surroundings - the better the lifestyle can become in their subconsciously affected mental realm.

So, interior design would be incredibly underappreciated in various steps.

Gratitude within your pathways.

God Bless,

John German

C K’s Answer

Interior design is an interesting topic because it touches on art and engineering.
The spaciousness of the home, the layout of the room, the lighting, the use of materials, the presence of plants and flowers, the use of color, and the use of art.

Ellen’s Answer

Hi Na'kiyah

How does interior design make me feel? Well, I think interior design is very important, as it forms our interior environment. The choice of colors, furniture, rugs and flooring, window treatments, lighting, accent pieces, and artwork, all work together to create different feelings and overall "ambience" in our interior spaces. With a thoughtful choice of all these elements, a room could feel restful, calm, happy, energetic or any number of things. Imagine living in a totally white room, how would that feel? So, how I feel about interior design depends on what room I am in. Right now I'm in my sunny kitchen, where there is a lot of wood on the cabinets and floors, the walls are beige, and the accent colors are blue and white, and I feel calm and very grounded due to all the natural materials and mostly neutral colors.

In a sense we are all use interior design when we choose our own furniture, decide what colors to paint our walls, and what to put on the floors in our rooms. However, Interior Designers are trained professionals who help individuals and businesses choose all the elements listed above for homes, stores, restaurants, offices and so on. They know about furniture styles, window treatments, flooring, fabrics, and so on, and where to get them. Some people just do not have a good sense of design, or just want professional help, and they hire Interior Designers. Interior designers also work with architects on building projects and in furniture stores to help customers with their choices.

Next time you go to a store, or a restaurant, or an airport, or a shopping mall, or a home, or a movie theater, or even your school, take a look at the colors, the textures, the furniture design, the lighting, the flooring, and so on. Think about how these various places make you feel, and you'll probably find that you feel differently in different rooms and settings. Do you have the same feelings in a movie theater that you have in a classroom? Why is that?

Interior Design is a very interesting field, with lots of room for creativity. If you are interested in this career path, you can start now by taking art classes and computer graphics classes. See if your parents, family or art teachers know any Interior Designers you could talk to about their careers.

Best Wishes!
I hope this helps.
