Should I dual major?
I am a social work major and I am indecisive if I should dual major with health management. I want to have a back up plan in case if things don't go as planned in the real world but I don't know if taking more classes to complete the H.M major in the following semesters is a good idea.

A lot depends on your end career goal. Social work is a great field with a lot of flexibility and options and is a good basis for almost anything else. If you want to work in healthcare management a Masters Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration would be a good option to consider after your bachelors degree.

Hi Esmeralda,
Only you know your limits and what you'll be able to handle. It will be important to weight the pros and cons as you consider the addition of a second major. Are you passionate about health management, or are you adding it on in hopes of getting a job? Will the additional coursework overwhelm you? Will additional coursework prevent you from participating in extracurriculars or internships?
By working with your academic advisor, you may be able to lay out a plan that will allow to you double major by only taking a few courses above a typical full-time schedule. I recommend thinking through what's most important to you and scheduling a meeting with your advisor to talk through your thoughts.
