In your opinion, how difficult is it for recent graduates of a college or job training program to get hired as a psychiatrist in San Jose not difficult, somewhat difficult, or very difficult? Why?

I'm currently completing my diploma as well as a trade on the side. I plan on going to community college for two years and then to a 4-year college. After that to get my bachelor's and masters. I'd like to know what it takes to get through all of these courses to get the optimal outcome. I know it's a solid commitment and I'm willing to work for it so I don't need reminders about how hard it's going to be.

Psychologist or psychiatrist? You can do psychologist with a masters but to be a psychiatrist you must have a doctorate because they prescribe medications.
Although generally speaking you want a doctorate for psychologist too.

When it comes to job search, there are no guarantees regardless of your field. Finding a relevant job is a challenging and sometimes longtime process for all.
What refers to psychiatric jobs, there are many open positions to apply. Nevertheless, for recent graduates, it can be somewhat difficult to find the first position.
All the best and good luck in your professional journey.
