Briana’s Answer

Hi, Helen,

Have you considered going to beauty school to become a stylist, cosmetologist, make up artist, or anesthetician? Beauty schools typically allow you to apply after high school (or sometimes during your last year of high-school, if you are already 18). The programs typically last around a year to get certified, then you can begin working at a salon. I know many people who worked at salons to support themselves and pay tuition while they attended college for an associates or Bachelors degree in another field.
