If by Musical Engineering you mean being an Audio Engineer I highly recommend one of two locations. Full Sail has a great reputation for its Bachelors program. It is well regarded but it can be a pit pricey being a university. Though here you would be able to study and receive a bachelors in both Live Sound and Studio. I did not go so I am not entirely sure about their program as a whole but I was before I chose a different location.
If you are worried about funds I also recommend checking out my alma mater, South Plains College located in Levelland, TX. It is a smaller school being a junior college but that will also help build connections with the musicians and film students there. (it is also substantially cheaper and quicker being a two year program). It is known for its Sound Tech Program and you can receive your Associates in Sound Technology where you will learn everything that goes into being an audio engineer. You can also receive an enhanced skills certificate in both Live sound and Sound Technology to further your skills if you wish to do that before transferring to a major university.
Both locations will teach you the industry standard that is Pro Tools as well as coach you in both music and film audio. Both are very different in their own and I would recommend checking out both to learn about them and decide what is the best fit for you as a person and what you can afford. Whether be it small vs large school/town (levelland having a population of less than 20k). Student to teacher ratio, etc. Both will give you a great experience and I encourage you to give both a chance before making a decision.
