Beca’s Answer

My experience graduating in film was quite fun. From my very first semestre I was shown all for he paths one can take on the film industry, from the most visible (like directing) to the work that is often only noticed when it is not there (like light work) or not done well (like costume design). You often get to experience a few positions before finding a calling, sometimes more than one, and also learn a bit of history (although mostly film and theatre history).
You also have the chance of meeting many people who might open a door for you in the future to start working in the industry, although that is not a certainty.

Joseph’s Answer

Well History can put you to sleep, and Film can wake you up. :-) Kidding. Actually, I love History because I love reading about past events. History is a learning experience you really must have a passion for seeking out the past events. You can find a lot about yourself if you read the events that took place during your born year. Film can be awesome, but it depends on how you approach it. The people associated with it personalities can vary. You must have a strong will because here are some people in that business that can be rude and some that are willing to help. Also aggressive is a must to move within that industry. I grew up in the entertainment industry sports and music.

Hope that helps.
