Maintaining a 4.0 GPA and engaging in numerous volunteer activities is an excellent beginning. Most law schools value not only academic prowess but also a diverse background. Hence, your volunteer work and college major need not necessarily be law-centric. Participating in activities that showcase leadership skills, empathy towards the underprivileged, and a genuine intention to improve the world can significantly distinguish you from others. However, be cautious. Admission officers are adept at discerning applicants who incorporate volunteer work and other activities merely to embellish their resume, as opposed to those driven by genuine passion.

Hi Gabriella,
You are on the right track. Getting the grades is just one of the ways to get into a good college. Have. you considered any other extracurricular activities that you could do? Volunteering and internships are a great commodity to have under your belt. Try to organize you letters of recommendations too. Work on your personal statement and interview skills- you may just need a brush up of those.
