The Water Treatment field is diverse in the roles you can have, the facilities/environments/industries you can work in, and the types of treatment you perform. Water is a necessity and there is always a need for water treatment.
In my years of water treatment, I have had many roles from Lab Support to Operator to Consulting and now Specialty Chemical Treatment. What I have liked best in this field is how different each day can be no matter the role you are in.
As a chemical treatment specialist, I get to solve problems and everyday is a new challenge. I can build on past experiences, but every problem I work on is unique and may require an different or innovative approach.
I love the challenges this presents, developing innovative solutions, and most importantly, having an impact on the field with the satisfaction that I have made each opportunity better for my involvement.
