What should I expect for the workload in attaining a BSN? Should I work part-time or not while getting it?

I am a high school junior and I love to work, but I do not know if this is possible. Have others felt this way? If so, what happened when you went to college?

Working while in college can be challenging. If you do not need to work I would recommend against it. But If you need extra spending money, try to work in a hospital and within the nursing program. Normally after your second or third you of school, hospital's will hire you into there nurse apprentice program (NAP). A NAP is allowed to preform more skills and increase you ability to find employment once you have completed the nursing program.

Best of luck. ME

Hey there! Absolutely, working during nursing school can definitely be a feasible option for many students. Although it might not be advisable for accelerated or direct entry programs, you can still make it work if you're enrolled in a traditional program. There are plenty of financial options for students such as scholarships, financial aid, grants, loans, and more! Remember that countless individuals have successfully balanced part-time work with nursing school, so there's no reason you can't do the same. Before diving in, however, be sure to understand your program's structure and find the best approach that works for you. Keep believing in yourself, and you'll undoubtedly achieve great things!
