Hello Hailee,
There are several ways to earn money easily for college, such as scholarships, sports, and job opportunities. If you're seeking a college opportunity, start by talking to your school counselor, who can help you find the right scholarships. If you're involved in athletics, your coach can be a valuable resource. There are many different job opportunities based on your interests and schedule. Take a look at this Indeed resource for 25 popular jobs for teens: https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/finding-a-job/best-jobs-for-teenagers
To obtain your own debit card, most banks can guide you through the process. This helpful article explains the basics so you know what to expect: https://www.forbes.com/advisor/banking/get-debit-card/ A debit card is like cash because you're using your own funds, but be careful since banks may charge fees. They might not explain all the fees when you open an account, so make sure to ask.
I hope this information is useful.

Hello Hailee!
A way you can start making money is through a part-time job.
There's places that allow teens to work. There's many types of part-time jobs you can have:
- Customer Service: three common areas are food service, hospitality, and technology.
You can become a dishwasher, cleaner, server, or cashier in food service.
You can become work at a IT help desk in IT.
You can work at a front desk or have a cleaning role in hopsitality.
- Tutoring: teach others in subjects you're good at. It's a good way to start a small business on your own, or work with your school if they offered paid tutoring roles.
- Atheletic/Physical Activities: some common areas are swimming pools and community sports parks. You could become a lifeguard if you enjoy swimming, or an outside service assistant if you enjoy golfing.
- Transportation: if you know how to drive, you can help deliver food or groceries in your community.
Once you enter college, you can work part-time job on campus too.
Before college, make sure you apply for the FAFSA. Your FAFSA may determine that your eligible for work-study, which can give you even more job opportunities!
Regarding debit cards: It's good to think about personal finance. Take a look at this page to learn how to manage your money too:

Always discuss your financial plans with your guardians before opening a account. As a teen, they will help you with getting a debit card and providing other money-related advice.
Sending you support as you get your first job! :)
