Hello Sam!
Fantastic inquiry, and I commend your enthusiasm for this area! There's a four-step journey that'll span 6-8 years to achieve your Midwife title. Start by obtaining your BSN or a bachelor's degree in a health-focused discipline. Following that, work towards becoming a registered nurse (RN). After accomplishing these milestones, proceed to an ACME-accredited midwifery graduate program, where you'll take and ace the midwifery examination. Keep up the great work!

Becoming a midwife typically takes 3-10 years, depending on the route you choose:
Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM): About 7-10 years (including BSN, clinical experience, and master’s degree).
Certified Professional Midwife (CPM): About 3-5 years (including midwifery education and certification).
Direct-Entry Midwife: About 3-5 years (including midwifery education and certification).
Ensure you check the specific requirements for midwifery in your region and choose the educational path that best fits your career goals.
