How to decide what i'd like to do in terms of college and highschool?

I'm currently in between the four majors I'd like to do, which are architecture, physics, engineering, and astrology. I'm most fond of all and enjoy looking into all of them but I'm at a standstill at what Id like to pursue when I go into highschool. However, I can admit I'm a bit young to think about it, but I think it's beneficial to come into highschool with a particular mindset and a game plan. Also, some tips for highschool would be very appreciated.

Thank you comment icon Hi, did you mean astronomy? Astrology is not a real profession that you can get a degree in. My mom is an astronomer, and she always has a bunch of students wondering when they'll learn about what it means when mercury is in retrograde, and she has to explain to them that isn't how astronomy works. Since you have so many interests I suggest that you keep an open mind when going into high school, and really let yourself explore everything that excites you. Then when you are planning for and going to college you can narrow your focus down more based off of what you learned about and what you liked or did not like in high school. This period in your life will spark a lot of change, so try not to limit yourself to one thing because curiosity and a willingness to learn are extremely valuable.

I echo the other answer here in keeping your mind open. Many people change their majors even when in college so don't stress to much about picking the 'right' one. Look into the types of courses you'd take for each and look into what you like or dislike about those educational components and that should help lead you to the 'right' answer!

I concur with the previous responses given to you. Nonetheless, if you're still considering those four majors, take into account the following factors: job availability upon graduation, potential need for relocation, and the salary range, among others. As for high school tips, be sure to make friends, participate in at least one club, improve your time management skills, and set aside time for enjoyment. Keep in mind that you may face challenges along the way, but that's a natural part of the learning process. Your proactive approach is an excellent beginning - wishing you the best of luck!

First of all, it's fantastic that you have so many interests at such a young age! Well done! Keep an open mind and embrace any chances related to these areas - like field trips, books, podcasts, and clubs. As time goes by, you might find yourself more attracted to one field over another or enjoy one more than the rest. Also, as mentioned earlier, as you figure out your values, you'll learn which area best aligns with them. Is it income, location, or work hours that matter most to you? And who knows, perhaps *you'll* be the one to create a unique path that combines all your passions at once!
