Stephany's answer gives you a lot of great ideas on what you can do with an Illustration degree. I know several illustrators that do freelance work for advertising agencies providing work for campaigns. Video game companies are also looking for people with illustration skills. It really just depends on your style of illustration as to what direction you might want to go. Your college should also be able to help you with career planning for your degree. Hope that helps!
