Hi Valeria!
That´s definitely a question that recently people my age and younger are answering with a no or that it wasn´t worth it.
What I would say is that it depends on where your interests and motivations are. Is a college degree an absolute necessity? Definitely not, you don´t have to go to college.
Do you want to pursue an specialized field that most likely requires a degree? Well, then definitely yes. Do you want to pursue a trade or start a business? Then maybe there might be other equivalent options than going to a college degree.
College however, is a great experience that will allow you to network, grow and discover your passions. And whenever you find something interesting in your classes and projects, try learning a bit more outside of the curriculum, that´s how I discovered what I liked to do!

Moreover, every job demands specific skills, and the more proficient you become, the better you'll fit in. Enhancing these skills might take as much or even more effort than obtaining a degree.
So, while it's not essential to possess a degree, having the knowledge certainly is.
