Emma’s Answer
In Texas, the minimum age requirement to become a licensed real estate agent is 18 years old. You must also be a United States citizen or a lawfully admitted alien, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete the required pre-licensing education. While you cannot become a licensed real estate agent at age 17, you can start preparing by gaining a strong understanding of the industry, taking real estate courses if available, and networking with real estate professionals to lay the groundwork for your career once you reach the eligible age.

It will take a while to get your studies completed so you can take your licensing test. I assume you can start when you are 18, but the State will have specific guidance. The classes and prep classes take a lot of time so the soonest you can become them the better.
I appreciate this, thank you for the advice.

I understand that you'll need to examine the regulations and guidelines specific to your state, which should address your inquiry about the required age. Additionally, it's important to complete a real estate pre-licensing course, successfully pass the test, and obtain a broker's license. Keep in mind that these requirements can differ from state to state, so it's crucial to research the necessary steps based on the location you intend to work in.
Thank you for taking the time to help.
