It's beneficial to experience doubts and uncertainty in life. Without these, you wouldn't be prompted to seek clarity. Whenever you find yourself in a state of confusion, it's essential to ponder deeply and pose a realistic question to yourself. Is what I'm drawn to also the right path for me? Do I possess the necessary resources or skills to attain my goal? If not, how can I gather these resources and hone the necessary skills?
For instance, if you have a fondness for animals and aspire to be a Veterinarian, I believe it's an excellent idea worth pursuing. This profession also offers a good income. However, architectural design for businesses is also a rewarding and well-compensated career. But it's crucial to conduct a self-assessment to determine if you have the aptitude needed for this field.
I'm confident that you'll find the answers within yourself. Remember to be honest when examining your thought process.

Hello Diana,
I appreciate you reaching out to us. From what I understand, you're considering three potential career paths: 1. A profession in the helping fields, 2. Veterinary Medicine, and 3. Interior Design. It's fantastic that you've already identified these areas of interest. This clarity will undoubtedly pave the way for a well-thought-out and informed decision as you navigate your career path. Well done!
I encourage you to delve deeper into your personal circumstances as they can significantly influence your decisions. Consider incorporating your personal interests, abilities, skills, and aptitudes, as well as your personality traits. These factors will contribute to your suitability for a job and your ability to interact with diverse individuals.
Among the three options you've identified, have you considered which one might offer you financial stability? Will it also bring you joy? It's natural to aspire for a high-paying job, and there are numerous reasons for this. However, focusing solely on salary might not guarantee job satisfaction in the long run. It's essential to consider other factors such as opportunities for growth and development, a supportive work environment, location accessibility, and potential travel incentives.
Remember, you're still young, and there's a lot to discover as you embark on your professional journey and begin to earn your own income. You'll learn more about yourself and the world of work as you go along, and you might find that reality often differs from our expectations.
Best of luck, Diana. The world is eagerly awaiting your contributions!

Great to recognize your passions and help those guide your career choices! A great way to test of careers is by either interning or volunteering - this will give you a taste of what the job is like! Through those experiences, you will also be networking and can ask the teams you're working with the pros/ cons of each role, then decide what seems like the best option for you!

Just pick one of the two options that pays better and consider doing the other one as a part-time gig during the weekend or after your regular work hours.
You'll need to sort out your priorities. Jot down why you prefer one field over the other. Each reason you write down counts as 10 points. However, if there's something you don't like or think might be challenging, subtract 5 points for that.
In the end, the field with the most points is the one for you!
