How can someone stop procrastinating and be more time mindful?

I procrastinate a lot and always wait until a couple days before or the day before to do things for school. Please give me tips on how to do it right away.

Procrastinating is a challenge. I wish to say that, it is a common problem, however, there are ways you can evade them.
Some of the tips to stop it includes;

Set clear goals: Clearly define what you want to achieve and break it down into smaller, manageable tasks. This will make your goals more concrete and less overwhelming.

Prioritize tasks: Determine which tasks are most important and require immediate attention. Focus on completing those tasks first before moving on to less urgent ones. Prioritizing will help you stay organized and ensure you're making progress on the most crucial tasks.

Create a schedule: Establish a daily or weekly schedule and allocate specific time slots for different tasks. Stick to this schedule as closely as possible, treating it as a commitment to yourself. Having a structured plan will help you stay on track and reduce the temptation to procrastinate.

Use time management techniques: Explore various time management techniques, such as the Pomodoro Technique, where you work for a set period (e.g., 25 minutes) and then take a short break. Breaking tasks into smaller, focused intervals can improve your productivity and motivation.

Minimize distractions: Identify and minimize potential distractions in your environment. This could include turning off notifications on your phone or computer, finding a quiet workspace, or using website blockers to restrict access to distracting websites.

Being aware that you procrastinate is the first step and asking for help is the second, so you're already on the road to making change. Start small with a plan to finish one paper, project or task one day ahead of time. When you accomplish that, reward yourself with a snack, movie or something fun. Then plan your next deadline to be reached a day early. After doing that a few times, you may begin to make it a practice and when it's a habit, you might not need the snacks as rewards because you will be feeling so good about knowing you accomplished what you set out to do.
