What university or college would be best to attend if someone would want a career in the criminal justice system?

It really depends where in criminal justice you are interested in. If you are interested in the Legal side then look up top schools for Pre-Law and law schools.


If you are interested in the "enforcement" side like a prison guard, police officer, national defense, etc. then your best bet would be to spend time in the military, maybe even somewhere like annapolis or west point.

Hi Kora,

It really depends on where you live and what your are looking to do. In New York, St. John's University and CUNY John Jay offer very good Criminal Justice programs. If you double major in accounting I personally know that the FBI and Secret Service do recruit out of St. John's. Your question is quite broad. It really depends on your end goal. Good luck.
