Do you need to be a leader (president, vice-president, treasurer, etc.) in any high school clubs you’re a part of to get into colleges?

I'm a part of multiple clubs but for most of them I don't have a leadership position but still contribute to helping them and consider myself a member of all the clubs I participate in. Would that affect my chances of getting accepted into college?

Leadership in any organization looks great on a college application. However, being involved also looks good. I would expand on your experiences in the club and what you did to contribute wherever there is room for explanation (i.e. essay questions) in your college application.

No you don't have to be in a leadership position but it will look better if you're an officer in at least one club. Even if you're not one, being active in multiple clubs will look very good especially if any are related to what you want to study.
