Do it! Find a generic business plan template online and start filling in the sections. Going through the process of setting up a business at your age would be great experience! I have told my kids at 16 I’m giving them seed money and I am going to help them open their first business. I hope you give this a shot.

Hi Emma,

You seem to clearly know what you'd like to do. The first step is to think how you are going to obtain the jewelry. Are you going to design and make it, design and have it made, learn design and jewelry making or are you already making your own jewelry?

If you are then the next step is to see how you can sell it and where you can sell it? This includes a lot of business steps but since you are still in school and if any parent/ guardian can help you so you are not alone, possibly the best place to start selling is at craft-fairs / school fairs/ seasonal or Christmas fairs etc. There are many local fairs in neighborhoods where you don't have to pay a lot to set up a small table.

Once you start sales, learn how to keep account of costs versus sales and how to keep things going. You can post your jewelry on Instagram and TikTok for exposure. Could even create contests or do prize giveaways. You can gift your friends with a jewelry piece and ask them to model and tag you, to help spread the word with their families and friends. In other words learn marketing, learn how to advertise and sell your product to the right demographic.

When you have achieved all that and paid yourself first so you can spend time to keep it going, you have successfully created your non-profit. At that time, you can register your business so you'd be exempt from taxes and only then you are ready to contact your Neuro Research Organization. Some of them partner with you and offer you marketing tools so you could succeed.

When you look at all that, it doesn't happen over night, therefore the sooner you start, the more you can take your time and slowly but surely move forward. Great concept, the more we know about Neuro-Science, the better we understand how we function and how to manage when things aren't quiet as they should be. A fascinating and extraordinary topic. Best of luck to you!

You should definitely do whatever your passionate about, this small thing that you're talking about could open up many other doors and help you gain better insight to finding a better opportunity for yourself and your future.
Only if you are able to give your total dedication and 100% involvement, that's the only way you would find the true satisfaction of your generosity.
Never do it or feel as an obligation to yourself, there will be more chances for you to fully be committed to your passions in life.
Do whatever you are able to without putting to much pressure on yourself and remember life gives all of us second chances? It's called tomorrow... 1<3 generosity is a virtue and I think that you will be someone who will make a positive impact in whatever career opportunity you choose!
